1. Wait for SAPS to advertise posts ( Check Sunday papers or their website)
2. If they advertise posts, go to your nearest police station and ask them for the forms for entry-level posts.
3. Fill in the form with the relevant documents attached.
4. Submit your form at a police station or the recruitment office
5. Wait for SAPS to contact you for a psychometric and integrity test( NOTE THAT IF YOU DON’T RECEIVE A SMS WITHIN 3 MONTHS, TAKE IT YOUR APPLICATION WAS UNSUCCESSFUL ).
6. If successful in the psychometric and integrity test , SAPS will invite you for a fitness evaluation .
7. If successful in the physical evaluation, SAPS will invite you for a interview.
8. If successful in the interview, SAPS will invite you for a medical evaluation.
9. There will then be a final selection process ( NOTE THAT YOU CAN PASS ALL THE STAGES AND STILL NOT GO TO COLLEGE )
10. Successful candidates will receive a call-up.
11. Successful candidates will go to college where they will stay at a academy selected by the National commissioner.
