Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an External Salesperson in our electrical retail store. The incumbent will be an ambassador/representative of the franchise and its image. The Salesperson is responsible for actively seeking out and closing sales deals, identifying potential customers, acquiring new customers, and building relations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Meet sales targets and revenue goals
- Business Process Management: Follow franchise operational requirements
- Market Analysis: Analyse market environments and identify problem areas + opportunities
- Cold Calling & Field Sales: Travel to existing and potential customers to promote brand
- Sales: Sell products, promote marketing campaigns, competitions, and specials
- Technical Support: Provide specialist technical information and knowledge to clients
- New Business: Identify new projects, accounts, and potential clients for customer base
- Customer Service: Provide on-site solutions to clients and follow in-store leads
- Training: Train Internal Sales Consultants and assist with internal sales
- Reporting: Complete Field Sales Reports and assist department heads
Requirements
- Experience/knowledge in Sales Environment – Electrical Industry essential
- 3-5 years in same or similar external sales role
- Electrical or similar Technical Qualification – Preferred
- Aptitude to absorb Product Knowledge – Technical
- Proven Marketing and Sales competencies + ability to analyse market
- Ability to establish and foster new business relationships
- Ability to provide training to clients and internal staff
- Valid driver’s license + own transport for field visits
