- Undergraduate qualification NQF Level 6 in Public Management, Administration, Operations, Business Management, Law or Social Science recognized by SAQA

As a Civic Services Clerk you will be the frontline of service delivery at DHA offices:
- Attend to public enquiries and perform online verification on HANIS system
- Greet customers with professional, warm and friendly service
- Provide orientation and information on ID, Birth, Marriage, Death services
- Check applicant status, fingerprint verification and marital status
- Conduct online verification and issue service tickets
- Operate in front and behind pay barrier as point of contact for customers
- Direct customers to relevant departments timeously
- Maintain customer waiting areas to highest standards of appearance and accessibility
- Operate live capture photo booth for ID and passport photos
- Verify, validate and capture client information on DHA systems
- Administer fingerprints and scan client supporting documents
- Process ID smart card applications, collections and deliveries
- Process Registration of Births, Marriages, Deaths and Late Registrations
- Handle rectifications and amendments of personal particulars
- Issue citizenship documents and travel documents
- Monitor records of cases and identify illegal foreigners
- Implement policies and procedures per approved framework
