To support their global takeover as the leading sports OTT platform, they are looking for individuals who are passionate about building a modern, scalable, high-quality resilient platform. The standards and goals are high, and to reach those, it has to be made sure that only the best are hired to join the Software Development in Test teams. You will be responsible for creating automated tests within different levels, coordinating with developers and stakeholders to ensure proper definition of stories and appropriate coverage and define test scenarios and strategies for complex architectures. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create automated tests within different levels 
• Coordinate with developers and stakeholders to ensure proper definition of stories and appropriate coverage 
• Define test scenarios and strategies for complex architectures 
• Explore new testing approaches and writing POC’s to test out within the company 
• Personal development in Software Development and Quality Assurance 

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a software developer in test or similar role
• Skills and experience in test automation 
• Practical knowledge of any programming language (scripting language is a plus) 
• Knowledge of different testing techniques and methodologies 
• Ability to create CI/CD pipelines – understanding of main concepts and applying different deployment strategies 
• Experience testing on Cloud environments (AWS is a plus) 
• Monitoring skills – understanding how to work with logs, monitoring systems, alerting, and measure performance metrics 

Not essential but great if you have

• Knowledge in the areas of performance/load testing 
• Capability to set the testing process from scratch 
• Knowledge of HTTP, REST AP 
• Ability to use GitHub actions 

Package & Remuneration

R35,000 – R65,000 per month (Negotiable based on skills and experience)
