FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR (6 MONTHS)
Job Purpose:-
Render all medical, psychological, and counseling services, as well as health promotion programs and clinical support activities,
in an employee wellness service center for employees.
Under indirect supervision, provide independent primary care in a variety of clinical settings to a specified population of non-emergency patients
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide general patient care and basic patient education, perform duties which indirectly support patient care such as scheduling,
record keeping, and maintaining supplies inventories, review patient charts, obtain and record patient information and medical
history and determine reasons for patient visits as and when required, obtain patient histories and develop patient care charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy, obtain patient histories and develop patient care charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy,
Administer medications:
apply stele dressings, educate patients regarding health-related issues, Fracuce sarety, environmental anchor inaction control methods, perform medical examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, consultation
and health education, assist with emergences and injunes on duty, ensure that stair has adequate continuina medical and other
relevant health care education, administer a specinc healin care activity, such as HIV prevention and education Indirectly strive to reduce employee absenteeism, indirecty strive to reduce employee absenteeism In cooperation with the Senior Wellness Officer, manage the budget of the wellness center in regards to wellness activities and the acquisition of required stock and supplies. In cooperation with the Senior Wellness Officer, plan and execute a variety of wellness activities to improve the general physical and mental well-being of the JM employees, Maintain all relevant documents and project files for audit and inspection purposes, design and facilitate in co-operation with the Skills Development Facilitator health care training programs to the benefit of all employees and the Company as a whole,
Participate in planning programs and in developing specific health policies and procedures.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Occupational Health Nurse/ Primary Health Care Qualification Up to 3 years relevant experience Registration with Professional body: South African Nursing Council.
