needs these things: Grade 12 National Senior Certificate Certificate accredited by PSIRA in grade “C.” An additional advantage will be a national certificate in security management. one year of security industry experience. Information and abilities: familiarity with the Control of Access to Public Buildings and Vehicles Act and other pertinent statutes; Knowledge of computers will also be advantageous; Great preparation, sorting out and organizing abilities; Great correspondence and relational abilities; Capacity to work under tension. NB: Candidates must be prepared to work shifts in accordance with the employer’s operational requirements because this is a shift position.
DUTIES : The officeholder will be liable for: rendering services for access control that include: distributing access cards, ensuring that visitors are escorted throughout the building, utilizing electronic metal detectors and x-ray machines to search employees, visitors, and their luggage, and Provide statistical reports on the activities of access control; Ensure the smooth operation of all electronic systems during one’s shifts, monitor all security electronic security systems in the control room, and carry out efficient control room operations. dispatching security guards on patrol to respond to security breaches and irregularities that are detected; Keep a record of every security breach discovered and action taken. Give general monitoring and watching security administrations; During your inspections, look both inside and outside the building, and make a note of any security breaches or irregularities you find; Ensure compliance with office security by conducting office inspections; Eliminate all weak resources deserted in hazardous regions and securely keep them in safe guardianship. Keep an eye out for and report security breaches; Confirm every security breach; Keep an eye on, record, and look into every incident; Give help during occasions.
