Job Summary:
We’re seeking a highly skilled and energetic Control Room Operator to monitor CCTV cameras, access control, fire alarm systems, and alarm systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling incidents, crime prevention, and reporting equipment issues, all while supporting security operations at SMU.
Reporting to: Chief Security Officer
Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12 with necessary security training and certification
PSIRA Grade B
Valid Driver’s license
At least 3 years’ security experience in a control room environment
Experience in a tertiary environment is an added advantage
Computer literacy
