Duties and Responsibilities
As a Client Services Officer in Compensation Fund you will assist employers and employees with COID claims and enquiries. Key duties include:
- Receive and verify COID claim documents for registration on system
- Capture and update employer and employee details on COIDA system
- Provide frontline customer service at service kiosk and call centre
- Attend to walk-in clients and handle telephone/email enquiries
- Distribute COID forms, notices and correspondence to stakeholders
- File documents and maintain accurate records per PFMA and records policy
- Assist with batch scanning and document management processes
- Support Compensation Fund operations and Batho Pele service standards
Requirements and Skills Needed
- Education: Senior Certificate Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4
- Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook + typing 35wpm
- Knowledge: Compensation for Occupational Injuries Act COIDA, PFMA
- Skills: Customer service, business writing, telephone etiquette
- Advantage: Knowledge of Compensation Fund business strategies
- Personal: Honest, reliable, client-focused, team player
