Duties – DDG Counter Corruption Security Services
- Provide strategic executive leadership to Branch Counter Corruption and Security Services
- Lead DHA counter-corruption modernisation via digital transformation programmes
- Manage physical + information security, MISS compliance, protection of assets
- Oversee investigation of fraud, corruption, misconduct + liaison with law enforcement
- Lead personnel security vetting, security clearance processes with agencies
- Develop counter-corruption prevention, intelligence gathering, fraud risk management
- Chair Departmental Ethics Committee + drive Public Service integrity frameworks
- Oversee policy development, governance frameworks, audit readiness, compliance
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement with law enforcement + intelligence structures
- Ensure Branch performance targets, service delivery, ethical governance
Requirements – Deputy Director General Counter Corruption DHA 2026
- Qualification: Law / Security Management / Forensic Investigation / Management NQF Level 8 SAQA
- Experience: 8 years at Senior Management level SMS
- Experience: Extensive anti-corruption or security services environment
- Knowledge: Constitution, Public Service Act, PFMA, Intelligence Services Act
- Knowledge: Criminal Procedure Act, SAPS Act, POPIA, Cybercrimes Act, MISS
- Knowledge: Public Service Anti-Corruption Strategy, Fraud Risk Management Framework
- License: Valid driver’s licence + willingness to travel extended hours
- Certificate: Nyukela Pre-entry Certificate to SMS compulsory
