Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires experienced Casual Cashiers for Centurion Mall store, Pretoria Region. Support customer service at POS with zero tolerance for inaccuracies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

– Grade 12 / Matric certificate
– Minimum 6 months cashier/till operations experience
– Computer literate – MS Office
– Sound numerical skills
– Strong command of English
– Basic customer service skills
– Willing to work retail hours

KEY DUTIES

– Record customer transactions on Dis-Chem operating system
– Process cash, bank cards, vouchers, eBucks, loyalty cards
– Handle refunds, exchanges, returns when authorised
– Ensure cash placed in drop safe per SOPs
– Report customer complaints + compliments to supervisor
– Promote current sales + promotions to customers
– Ensure all outgoing stock is scanned and paid for
– Maintain confidentiality of daily takings

– In-depth knowledge of cash registers + cash drawers
– Accuracy + attention to detail
– Problem-solving + time management
– Emotional intelligence + social awareness
– Trustworthy and honest
