Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement After-sales campaigns and promotions to drive parts sales growth across SSA dealers
  • Conduct regular dealer engagements, market intelligence gathering, and automotive after-sales trend analysis
  • Develop and manage After-sales marketing strategy and customer loyalty programs for market share growth
  • Track dealer performance, generate monthly reports, and present insights to senior management
  • Coordinate dealers parts incentive program: target setting, incentives, and performance optimization
  • Manage parts pricing strategy: benchmarking, profitability optimization, inflation updates, DMS communication
  • Provide dealer support, resolve queries, and enable field force team for dealer performance improvement
  • Conduct market research on competitor pricing, campaigns, and business activities across SSA markets
  • Build and manage customer loyalty and retention programs for genuine VW parts
  • Support strategic projects within After Sales Division using design thinking and data analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Data Science, Commerce, Engineering, or IT – NQF Level 6/7
  • Postgraduate qualification like MBA, MBL, or Honours will serve as distinct advantage

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Sales and/or After Sales environment within OEM or importer
  • OR minimum 5 years in Dealer Sales and/or After Sales Parts & Service operations
  • At least 3 years hands-on experience in parts pricing within OEM or importer environment
  • Exposure to Sub-Saharan African markets will be a major advantage

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical: Advanced MS Office Excel, CRM systems, Data analysis tools: Power BI, Tableau, Python, Google Analytics. Pricing systems, DMS management
Analytical: Data analysis to derive insights, market trend interpretation, forecasting, KPI reporting, design thinking
Professional: Product marketing plan formulation, written and verbal communication, above average presentation skills, stakeholder management
Personal: Self-starter, analytical thinker, ownership mentality, accountability, adaptable to mobility future
