Job Description
Stanbic Bank Tanzania is seeking a Direct Sales Agent for the Mbeya Branch in the Personal & Private Banking segment. Reference ID: 80451883A-0001.This part-time position focuses on customer acquisition, onboarding and revenue growth through direct client engagement.
Purpose of PositionDrive sales of bank products and services through field visits, referrals and networking.Develop customer relationships and achieve assigned sales targets daily, weekly and monthly.Represent Stanbic Bank professionally in all customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Actively source and acquire new customers through field visits and referrals.Promote and sell bank products including accounts, loans, deposits, insurance and cards.Conduct product presentations, explain features and benefits, and address customer queries.
Ensure completion of account opening forms in compliance with KYC and regulatory requirements.Provide regular feedback on customer needs, market trends and competitor activities.Maintain strong relationships for retention and cross-selling opportunities.
Develop business opportunities by following up leads and conducting planned cold calling.Conduct needs analysis to identify customer needs when opening accounts or giving product advice.Hand over customer relationships to Personal Banker, Branch Manager and business development managers.Attend to all enquiries from clients, Credit or Branch level.
Qualifications Required
First Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.Skills and CompetenciesArticulating information and examining information effectively.Documenting facts and following procedures accurately.Interacting with people and meeting timescales.Producing output and taking action to achieve targets.Team working and thinking positively.Technical skills in bookkeeping, data management and reconciling financial records.Written communication and records management.
