Technical Application Support Analyst – Attain People
Attain People is seeking a technically strong Application Support Analyst for permanent vacancy in Pretoria/Centurion area. Supporting critical software applications in fast-paced production environment.
Salary & Benefits
R40 000 – R50 000 per month – Permanent position. Hybrid remote after probation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT
- 3+ years in application support, software support, or technical support
- Strong SQL skills for data investigation and fixes essential
- Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, or C# essential
- Solid understanding of incident, problem, and change management ITSM
- Experience supporting multi-tier production systems
Duties
- Monitor production systems and perform daily health checks
- Investigate and resolve application incidents 1st & 2nd line support
- Analyse root causes and prevent recurring issues
- Apply minor code fixes, scripts, and configuration changes in production
- Work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors
- Manage and track tickets via Jira Service Management
