Job Purpose

The External Sales and Service Advisor Lead OBR drives sales performance by applying established processes to achieve individual targets within assigned area. You will build and sustain strong customer relationships through effective engagement and exceptional service delivery. Minimum Requirements for FNB Sales Advisor 2026

  • FSCA recognized FAIS relevant NQF Level 5 Qualification or higher qualification – Compulsory
  • Completed First Level Regulatory Examination RE1 – Compulsory for FSCA compliance
  • Experience in sales, banking, financial services or customer service
  • Credit record check required in accordance with National Credit Act NCA
  • South African ID or valid work permit
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Sales and Target Achievement

  • Apply appropriate sales processes within area of responsibility to achieve sales targets
  • Build client relationships and understand market needs to design customized solutions
  • Retrieve qualified leads from internal channel sales pipeline and make contact
  • Source new leads through external contacts and channels to increase customer base
